How to find a celebrant and more importantly how to choose one. The importance of choosing the right celebrant cannot be over estimated. The celebrant is often one of the least expensive items or services of any wedding and though quality cannot be guaranteed by paying more, the price one pays most often dictates what one receives in personalised service, quality and originality of resource materials and the small but important touches that help the whole day run smoothly. Choose wisely and only after long discussion and personally meeting with your candidates. Is the personality and demeanour of the candidate strong and appealing without being overpowering or arrogant? What life skills and abilities do they possess; are they friendly and receptive to your ideas, are they outgoing and positive in their outlook? Are they able to talk of love, life and marriage from a place of experience and credibility? Do they have a sense of style about them? Regardless of your choice, enjoy the process, don't rush the decision and don't be pressured into signing with anyone your not 100 percent confident and happy with.

I chose the name "Your Celebrant" for a number of reasons. First and foremost because if you choose me to conduct your ceremony that is exactly what I will be "Your" Celebrant. And by that I mean I will make every effort to ensure that your wedding reflects your desires and your tastes. Though we will work as a team to create a ceremony of beauty and one crafted with care and attention to detail it is ultimately your wedding, your marriage and your day. You are the Stars of the show and though I play a necessary part, it is a supporting role and that's what I endeavor to do from the first enquiry to the presentation of yourselves as husband and wife, give you as a couple all the support and professional service that I can.

I have for over 30 years worked as a performer and in the area of event management. My interests are many and varied and I bring all my experience, knowledge and dedication
to each and every couple to deliver a relaxed but dignified ceremony of your choosing. Only under exceptional circumstances do we perform more than one ceremony a day, which means our priority is the flawless presentaion of your ceremony in a relaxed manner. We do not perform namings or funerals. We specialise in renewal of vows and weddings only. This allows us to be the very best in one area, your wedding!
